I've been playing around with a new website today called Smore (smore.com). It describes itself as an online flyer creator but I can see teachers and students using this for a lot more! It allows users to add text, photos, videos, links, and events. Once you create your flyer it can be emailed, shared on Facebook or Twitter, and even embedded into your website. It's very eye catching. I can see students using this to create a flyer to demonstrate their learning about a topic. You also have the option as to how private you want your flyer to be. Right now Smore is in beta testing so I don't know how long it will be free or if they will offer a free version and a paid version. It's definitely worth checking out! Check out a sample flyer I created today for my weekly news for parents and students.
